The Armed Forces Reserve Medal MUST be worn with a device. You either have earned the medal for a minimum of 10 years in the reserves and therefor must have an hourglass device OR you earned the medal because you were mobilized to active duty and therefor must have a mobilization "M" on the medal and/or ribbon. Please choose one or the other OR both if you have more than 10 years and you were mobilized. If you were mobilized more than once you rate a bronze numeral to indicate the number of times. Numbers start at 2 because the "M" is for the first time. Learn More
